Funeral Mass for Ramon Barcia, Jr.
We were recently advised that Congregante Ramon Barcia, Jr. passed away in the company of his loving wife Alina and his sons, Ramon and Carlos.
Ramon passed to Congregante on November 27, 1965. Ramon was on the team of Agrupados that kept the student residence, Jesus Maestro, operating at the JPII campus in Miami. Carlos Barcia, one of Ramon's two sons, became a Congregante on December 6, 2003. In the photos are Carlos, and his father Ramon, serving as his Padrino, during the December 6, 2003, Pase at the JPII campus. Carlos is the third generation of Barcias in the ACU. Ramon Barcia, Sr. was among the first group of men that became Congregantes in the ACU. Ramon Sr., became a Congregante in 1934.
