Spend a weekend with the Lord in silence! Set aside your daily distractions, discern your passions, and encounter Jesus Christ in your life! While the Exercises last just a short amount of time, the practice of silence tends to be a challenge for many, especially in our fast-paced world. But it is in silence that we focus and deepen our internal dialogue with the Lord.
Each Chapter is scheduled to offer the Spiritual Exercises in 2025! Check out the event list below to find the one that best fits your schedule for more information.

2025 Spiritual Exercises
Spiritual Exercises for Women in English
Director: Fr. Vincent Capuano, S.J.
We have maintained the traditional form of the preached Exercises, which is a structured form of delivering the Exercises within a schedule that include various liturgical services and prayer. During the exercises, the Director will give the retreatants a series of guided reflections based upon the four-week cycle of the Exercises developed by St. Ignatius of Loyola. After each of the guided reflections, the Director may provide the retreatants with specific points from the guided reflection or a particular scripture passage on which to continue the reflection in silence. This is the spiritual exercise. The retreatants are invited to exercise their spirituality by reading the particular passage and reflecting, engaging in contemplation of the scripture passage, and then journaling their thoughts and ideas. Additional spiritual reading is also beneficial. The Director remains available to the retreatants between the guided reflections for spiritual conversation and additional one-on-one guidance. Liturgies such as the Mass or Adoration are also part of the Exercises.
Each participant is assigned a private room and bathroom.
