A Token of Gratitude
At Guardia this past Wednesday in Miami, our President, Dr. Manny Anton, expressed his gratitude to our Director, Fr. Christian A. Saenz, S.J., for his leadership over the previous five years. Dr. Anton noted that Fr. Saenz guided the ACU to unprecedented growth. During the five years of his leadership, the Miami Chapter established and strengthened four formation groups. Additionally, through frequent visits to the ACU Chapters, we are on the cusp of new formation groups at Catholic University of America in D.C., establishing a physical presence at Interamerican University in San Juan, and rebuilding our traditional presence at Georgia Tech in Atlanta. Additionally, during these five years, Fr. Saenz played a pivotal role in the organization of JAAMS, the Jesuit Association of American Marian Sodalities, which is leading the resurgence of Marian Sodalities at Jesuit institutions in the United States. As a token of gratitude, Dr. Anton presented Fr. Saenz with an original copy of the 1910 Rules for Marian Sodalities.
