ACU Hosts the Holy Smokes Event
This past Friday, December 15, 2023, the ACU was pleased to host the Holy Smokes event for the fathers of students from Belen Jesuit Preparatory School. The event was led by the Father and Son ministry of the ACU. A special thanks to Mariano Perez, who leads the ministry, and the helping hands of Jose Mora, Nikola Stasi, Christian Sanchez, Congregate Feliz Caceres, and others who helped put on the event. Mr. Timothy Tylec, from Belen, was also present with us. Despite the inclement weather, a strong showing of nearly 60 men came out to smoke cigars in fellowship. The evening was catered by Luna Rossa Cocina Rustica, and its Chef Juan Rozo, who prepared personal pizzas on-site to order.
The event began with a short introduction to the ACU and the father & son ministry. Short tours of the ACU's Miami Chapter Campus were provided. And there was plenty of time for fellowship and cigars!
