ACU Orlando Reconnects with UCF Students
This past Thursday, October 22, 2026, members of the ACU gathered for dinner at 4 Rivers Smokehouse in Orlando with four students from the University of Central Florida (UCF), all alumni of Belen and Estovir. A recent University of Florida graduate also joined them. He now lives and works in Orlando and was active in the ACU during his time in Gainesville. Rafael (Wifo) De Cardenas, Instructor for the Orlando group, ACU National Vice President Mariano Perez, and University Coordinator Matias Barbosa Garcia, who traveled from Miami for the evening, accompanied the young men. The dinner gave them a chance to reconnect with the ACU and to begin planning their regular ACU meetings at UCF. Over the meal, the group discussed what those meetings will look like and talked about organizing some events for the students in the coming months. The young men left excited to get started, and the Orlando community looks forward to welcoming more students and young professionals as the group takes shape. Please keep these young men and the Orlando ACU in your prayers as this effort at UCF gets underway.
