On Monday, October 26, and Tuesday, October 27, members of the Agrupación Católica Universitaria traveled to Gainesville, Florida, to visit the Catholic Gators at the University of Florida. Representing the ACU were Seth Caraecle, Management Administrator, Jay Velasco, congregante, and Matías Barbosa-García, College Coordinator, who was making his first trip to Gainesville.
During the visit, Seth Caraecle delivered a presentation on the Ignatian Daily Examen, a prayer developed by St. Ignatius of Loyola that encourages individuals to reflect on their day and recognize God's presence in their daily lives. He challenged the college men to take time each evening to look back on their experiences, recognize moments of gratitude, examine their actions and decisions, and consider how God may be calling them to grow.
Following the presentation, the students gathered in the main church, where Seth guided them through the Daily Examen, allowing them to put into practice what they had learned. The visit provided an opportunity for the ACU to continue strengthening its relationship with the Catholic Gators and supporting the spiritual formation of young Catholic men at the University of Florida.
