The ACU @ FIU
The FIU Student Group met this past Monday, January 27, 2025, at the Miami Chapter Campus for its first meeting of the Spring Semester. regular formation meeting. Congregate Willie Cueto led a presentation summarizing the topics discussed last semester, such as the three pillars of the ACU, “How will you measure your life” written by Dr. Clayton Christensen of Harvard, the USCCB principles on Faithful Citizenship, the beatitudes, and the life of Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati to whom a miracle was recently attributed, opening the door for the Vatican to declare him a saint. Thanks to the assistance of Fr. Luis Pavon we have experienced an increase in interested students with two new members joining the Monday meeting, and at least nine more signed up. Fr. Pavon is the associate pastor at St. Agatha Catholic Church, which operates the Catholic @ FIU campus ministry for FIU.
