The ACU @ FIU

The FIU Student Group met last Friday, November 8, 2024, at the Miami Chapter Campus for its regular formation meeting. Congregate Willie Cueto led a presentation on ordering priorities within the Ignatian tradition of the first principle and foundation. He was joined by Congregante Gerry Portela. He led the group through a discussion on ordering life as follows: God, self, family/others, Career/Work/Education, and support activities. The group discussed activities pertinent to collegiate life including education, fraternities, social outings, and dating; Willie and Gerry addressed how to properly balance those activities in a Christ centered life. They further discussed the dangers of placing these subordinate activities in the center of one's life.
