Spiritual Exercise in Atlanta
The Ignatian Spiritual Exercises are the cornerstone of our spiritual life. The Atlanta Chapter held the annual spiritual exercises on the weekend of March 21-23 at the Ignatius House of Atlanta. The retreat began on Friday evening, March 21, and ended on Sunday, March 23.
The Exercises were directed by Fr. Jim Fleming, S.J., the Ignatius House Spiritual Director. Atlanta hosted ejercitantes from Georgia, South Carolina, and Florida and, included several spouses of Agrupados. The exercises focused on Mary through the four weeks of the Ignatian spiritual exercises.
The Atlanta Chapter has maintained a special relationship with the Ignatius House since 1963 and has made significant contributions to its programs. In addition to serving as the principal retreat house for 60 years, it also hosts the weekly Guardias of the ACU.
