ESTO VIR GROUP: MADE FOR MORE EVENT

Seven members of the Esto Vir Group, the high school sodality at Belen, attended the Made for More presentation at St. Augustine Catholic Church and Student Center in Coral Gables, Florida, on the evening of last Wednesday, October 18, 2023. The event is put on by the Theology of the Body Institute and led by Christopher West. The presentation is a mix of live music, video, and lecture. The crux of the presentation is that the human body is itself a sacramental that reveals to us God's design, which is to marry humanity. Christopher addresses the differences in sacramental marriage between a man and a woman, and the celibacy of the priesthood, which is representative of Christ as the bridegroom of his Church. This is the first time the event was held in Miami since the COVID-19 pandemic ended.
