Celebration of the 100th Anniversary of the “Iglesia de Reina” and Dedication of Main Hall to Fr. Felipe Rey de Castro SJ

The Parish of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and St. Ignatius of Loyola, main home of the Society of Jesus in Cuba celebrated the 100th Anniversary of its temple with a Mass presided by the Archbishop of Havana Juan de la Caridad Cardinal Garcia, and Jesuits Mons. Juan de Dios Hernández Ruis, Archbishop of Pinar del Rio, Provincial Fr. Martin Lenk, Provincial Delegate to Cuba Fr. Juan Ayala, Pastor Fr. Jorge Luis Rojas, and many more. The main hall of the Jesuit facility was dedicated to the founder of the ACU, Fr. Felipe Rey de castro (1889-1952), with a portrait gracing the entrance and two large graphical panels inside the hall.
