Catholic Young Professionals (CYP)and Congregant John Portuondo
Last month, at St. Hugh Parish in Coconut Grove, architect Rafael Portuondo (Congregant John Portuondo’s uncle and son of Congregant Rafael Portuondo) gave a beautiful witness of his faith in the workplace to Catholic Young Professionals (CYP). He drew from his experiences growing up with the ACU, Fr. Llorente, as well as stories from his professional life. His main message was to be fearless about your faith even when there are serious challenges. His presentation concluded with a few minutes of Q&A with a participant saying "Thank you. My first job was at your firm, and the part I best remember is its strong moral foundation".
CYP is an apostolate conducted by some Congregants who recently graduated from the University of Miami.
