Catholic Gators Men's Night

Last night, Monday, September 30th, a team of Agrupados from the Miami Chapter conducted the monthly men's meeting in collaboration with the Catholic Gators ministry of St. Augustine Catholic Church and Student Center at the University of Florida. This is the first meeting of the academic year following the tailgate kickoff on Saturday, August 31, 2024. Gerry Portela led the presentation and he was joined by Andres Manrara and Jay Velasco. They will be presenting on Ignatian Spirituality and using the book entitled Be a Man by Fr. Larry Richards. Approximately 30 students attended the meeting. The next meeting is scheduled for Monday, October 28, 2024. The group was welcomed at breakfast by Fr. Blair Gaynes, pastor at St. Augustine, and Seth Caraecle, the campus minister.
