Agrupacion Aids the Missionaries of Charity for Thanksgiving food Distribution
Agrupados, the Agrupacion Father & Son Group, together with the young professionals of the Agrupacion, joined forces with the Missionaries of Charity this past weekend to serve the poorest of the poor.
Two teams of volunteers embarked on a mission to ensure that no one went hungry during Thanksgiving. The first team, comprised of fathers and sons, focused their efforts on the soup kitchen, sorting and preparing donated food items into bags ready for distribution. They worked together with volunteers from other organizations, guided by the Missonaries Of Charity.
The second team, consisting of Fathers and Sons, Agrupados, and the Agrupacion’s young professionals group, took charge of logistics, carefully loading turkeys and the food bags into their vehicles.
Later The team along with the Missionaries of Charity traveled to distribute the food. The Missionaries were praying and singing in the trucks as they went to various trailer parks to distribute the donations. The men then went door to door distributing the donations to those in need. Hundreds of families were given bags of food and turkeys. As we sing in the himno, Nuestros brazos serán vuestros brazos.
