ACU @ UM
After the very enthusiastic and well attended first meeting of the semester, the ACU-UM Honor Society team was hopeful that the initial numerous attendance would not drop too much, and we were not disappointed, 21 students attended our meeting on September 13. The student leaders did an excellent job recruiting.
The meeting began, as usual, with the singing of the “Salve Regina” and Fr. Christian Saenz, S. J. gave an excellent presentation on the Encyclical Letter “Magnifica Humanitas” of Pope Leo XIV on Safeguarding the Human Person in the Time of Artificial Intelligence.
The group ate the dinner provided and fully participated with questions and the sharing of opinions for Fr. Saenz, extending beyond the allotted meeting time.
Matias Barbosa and Congregantes Luis Sánchez, Alfonso Ledo and Sergio Rodriguez were present as part of the ACU leadership team for this group.
