Silence in a Professional Setting

Earlier this month on Nov 7th, Dr. Carlos Moas presented to the Catholic Young Professionals (CYP) on the importance of "silence" in a professional setting. Dr. Moas borrowed from the works of His Eminence Robert Sarah (Cardinal and retired prefect of the Congregation for Divine Worship), Saint Ignatius of Loyola, and other scholarly sources to show how necessary silence is in both our professional and personal lives. He outlined some practical tips on how to avoid multi-tasking and how to prioritize communication. He then concluded his presentation citing examples from both his personal and professional life where he was better able to lead a Christ-centered life by creating moments of "interior silence".
