Visit to the Washington D.C. Chapter
Luis Sánchez, ACU National President, and Erik Vieira, Pastoral Administrator, visited with Agrupados at the Washington, DC, Chapter this past weekend. A convivencia was held with Agrupados on Thursday at the regularly scheduled Guardia. The Agrupados discussed the state of the DC Chapter, returning to in-person Guardias, national apostolates, and the specific needs of the DC Chapter. Luis got a tour of the DC residence and met with some of the residents.
On Friday, Luis, Erik, and Alex Navarro, president of the DC Chapter, met with the Student group at the Catholic University of America. The Student group is a partnership with the Ciocca Center for Principled Entrepreneurship at the Busch School of Business in CUA. Professor Andreas Widmer is pleased to collaborate with the ACU. The ACU will focus on formation, particularly incorporating faith and spirituality into the professional life.
On Saturday, Luis and Erik participated in Alex Navarro’s Exodus 90 Apostolate. Alex and Congregante Amando Madan lead a group of men on a asceticism and formation utilizing the Exodus 90 initiative. The group meets at the St. Leo the Great parish in Fairfax, Virginia.
