The ACU @ CUA in Washington, D.C.
The Washington, D.C., Chapter had its regular formation meeting with the CUA student group. A number of the residents at the D.C. House were also in attendance. The group meets at the ACU residence in the Brookland neighborhood in the Northeast quadrant of D.C. This week, Fr. Maximo Stock led the meeting. Fr. Stock is the Chaplain for the Undergraduate program at CUA. He is a priest of the St. John Society of apostolic life founded more than 20 years ago in Argentina. He earned his bachelor's degree in philosophy from a Dominican University in Buenos Aires, his MA and MDiv from Mount Angel Seminary in Oregon, his STB from the Gregorianum in Rome, and his STL from Sacred Heart Major Seminary in Detroit, Michigan.He was ordained on July 14, 2012, at the national shrine of the first Argentinian saint, Cura Brochero, in Cordoba, Argentina. He previously served as the director of the Newman Center at Oregon State University for seven years.
