The ACU FIU Student Group held its regular meeting this past Friday, September 20, 2024, at the Miami Chapter Campus of the ACU. This is the second official meeting of the group, which has been seeded by members of the Esto Vir Group and is fully supported by Fr. Luis Pavon, the Catholic Chaplain for FIU and parochial vicar at St. Agatha Catholic Church. The Group discussed the Catholic Church's position on abortion by way of Amendment 4 to the Florida Constitution, which is on the Ballot this November, and is known as The Right to Abortion Initiative. The Group is scheduled to meet every other Friday.
