Passing of Congregante Dr. Gil Ascunce

We recently learned that Congregante Dr. Gil Ascunce passed away yesterday following a battle with cancer. Dr. Gil passed to Congregante on December 4, 2021, at the 90th anniversary celebration of the ACU. Dr. Gil had attended numerous spiritual exercises before passing to Congregante and participated for years in ACU guardias and events. He practiced gastroenterology in Virginia. Let us pray for the repose of his soul and ask that our Lady comfort his widow Consuelo, and their children, Aranzazu Ascunce, Dr. Gil Ascunce, Jr., and Gabriel Ascunce. We will pass along the funeral arrangements once we have them.
