We remember our Spanish Founder’s passing to the Agrupación Triumphant seventy-two years ago today in Havana, Cuba. The diocesan investigative process in favor of a possible cause for beatification has been approved by the Archbishop of Havana Juan de la Caridad Cardinal García, Primate of the Church in Cuba, and Jesuit Caribbean Provincial Martín Lenk. We aim to make Fr. Felipe Rey de Castro SJ’s life and work widely known throughout the world and are drafting plans to identify means most appropriate for the task. Stay tuned, but for the time being and for the glory of God, please download your favorite version and read it! The first English edition is slightly updated, it includes 1) name index, 2) newly found letter to the ACU from the Superior General, following our founder’s death, and 3) a prayer to Fr. Rey de Castro penned by Cardinal García. Two separate book reviews, also attached, may stimulate your interest. Pray to Fr.
