Celebrating 20 Years of Priesthood: Fr. Jorge Luis Rojas, SJ

On Tuesday, October 6, 2026, the ACU community joyfully celebrated the 20th anniversary of the priestly ordination of our Director, Fr. Jorge Luis Rojas, SJ. For two decades, Fr. Rojas has faithfully answered God's call to serve His Church, dedicating his life to the celebration of the sacraments, the spiritual formation of others, and the guidance of countless souls toward a deeper relationship with Christ.

Throughout his priesthood, Fr. Rojas has embodied the Jesuit mission of serving God in all things. Through his preaching, spiritual direction, celebration of the Eucharist, and commitment to the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius of Loyola, he has helped others grow in faith and discern God's will in their lives. His dedication to the ACU has been especially meaningful, as he continues to guide men in their pursuit of holiness, encouraging them to become faithful Catholics, devoted husbands and fathers, and leaders who bring Christ into their families, professions, and communities.

The anniversary was marked with the celebration of Holy Mass, where we gave thanks to God for the gift of Fr. Rojas' priesthood. Following Mass, members gathered to celebrate the occasion with a special anniversary cake in his honor. The festivities continued with dinner, providing another opportunity for fellowship and gratitude for his many years of faithful service.

As we celebrate this important milestone, we thank Fr. Rojas for his spiritual fatherhood, his unwavering commitment to the Church, and his dedication to the mission of the ACU. We pray that Our Lord and the Blessed Virgin Mary continue to bless and strengthen him in his priestly vocation for many years to come.

El martes 6 de octubre de 2026, la comunidad de la Agrupación Católica Universitaria (ACU) celebró con gran alegría el vigésimo aniversario de la ordenación sacerdotal de nuestro Director, el P. Jorge Luis Rojas, SJ. Durante dos décadas, el P. Rojas ha respondido fielmente al llamado de Dios a servir a su Iglesia, dedicando su vida a la celebración de los sacramentos, la formación espiritual y el acompañamiento de innumerables almas hacia una relación más profunda con Cristo.

A lo largo de su sacerdocio, el P. Rojas ha encarnado la misión jesuita de encontrar y servir a Dios en todas las cosas. A través de su predicación, dirección espiritual, celebración de la Eucaristía y compromiso con los Ejercicios Espirituales de San Ignacio de Loyola, ha ayudado a muchas personas a crecer en la fe y a discernir la voluntad de Dios en sus vidas. Su dedicación a la ACU ha sido especialmente significativa, pues continúa guiando a sus miembros en su camino hacia la santidad, animándolos a ser católicos fieles, esposos y padres ejemplares, y líderes capaces de llevar a Cristo a sus familias, profesiones y comunidades.

El aniversario estuvo marcado por la celebración de la Santa Misa, durante la cual dimos gracias a Dios por el don del sacerdocio del P. Rojas. Al concluir la Eucaristía, los agrupados se reunieron para compartir un pastel especial en su honor. Las celebraciones continuaron con una cena, que brindó otra oportunidad para disfrutar de la fraternidad y expresar nuestro agradecimiento por sus muchos años de fiel servicio.

Al celebrar este importante acontecimiento, agradecemos al P. Rojas por su paternidad espiritual, su inquebrantable compromiso con la Iglesia y su entrega a la misión de la ACU. Pedimos al Señor y a la Santísima Virgen María que continúen bendiciéndolo y fortaleciéndolo en su vocación sacerdotal durante muchos años más.
