Aspirantado Flag Football
Congregant Marco Barbosa, of the Miami Chapter, and a third-year law student at the University of Miami, organized a flag football tournament with the different aspirantados in Miami. He was assisted by Congregant William Cuetro, the instructor for the FIU aspirantado. Members of the FIU, University of Miami and Young Professionals joined to form a group of approximately 25 guys for the tournament. Additionally, some visitors also joined the game and learned about the ACU. The tournament was held at the Hernandez Lacrosse Field at Belen Jesuit Preparatory School. We are grateful to Mr. Lazaro Fernandez, the Athletic Director at Belen, for providing access to the field!
After the tournament, the guys gathered at the ACU for lunch and to watch the College Football Playoff game of the University of Miami versus Texas A&M. We were joined in spirit by our fellow aspirantado at Texas A&M!
