ACU Spotlight: Cesar Guerrero -A Life Dedicated to Faith, Education, and Family

Cesar prepares himself for an upcoming Guardia

Cesar Guerrero is a man of unwavering faith, a passion for education, and a deep love for his family. Born in Santo Domingo, Republica Dominicana, he embarked on a journey filled with meaningful extracurricular activities, academic achievements, and a devotion to church and community service.

Cesar's commitment to his faith is exemplified by his active involvement with the Agrupación Católica Universitaria, where he serves as the President of the Miami Chapter. Through this role, he tirelessly worked to strengthen the bonds of faith and community among university students. Additionally, Cesar dedicated his time and expertise to the Finance Committee at St. Joseph Catholic Church, where he also plays a pivotal role in preparing engaged couples for the sacrament of marriage.

Cesar's educational journey began at the Colegio Dominicano de la Salle in Santo Domingo, where he earned his Bachiller en Ciencias y Letras. His thirst for knowledge then led him to the Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra, where he graduated as an Ingeniero Electro-Mecánico. Continuing his pursuit of excellence, he furthered his education at the University of Miami, obtaining a Master in Business Administration with a major in International Business. Later in life, he earned a Master of Science in Logistics and Supply Chain Management from Florida International University.

Cesar's dedication extends to his family, where he has been happily married for 38 years. Together, he and his wife raised three wonderful children: Cristina, Oscar and Carolina. Cristina is now 36 years old, while Oscar, who has a son named Nicolas and a daughter named Emilia, is 34. As for Cristina, she is yet to have children. The Guerrero family is expanding as their youngest, Carolina, prepares to embark on the journey of marriage next month.

Outside of his professional and family life, Cesar finds joy in hobbies such as cooking and wine tasting. He cherishes his leisure time, which he often spends by the beach or exploring new destinations around the world.

Cesar's life is a testament to the values of faith, education, and family. His contributions to the church, dedication to academic excellence, and the love he shares with his family have left an indelible mark on those who have had the privilege of knowing him. Cesar passed to congregante on December 10, 2005.
