The Jesuits of the Caribbean Complete the Exercises
The Jesuits of the Province of the Caribbean completed their annual 8-day set of Spiritual Exercises at Casa Manresa in Miami, which is always done the week before the Feast of St. Ignatious of Loyola. The Exercises were directed by Fr. Prudecio Miguel Piña, S.J., who is standing in the center of the photo just below the cross. Attending the Exercises were the Jesuits from Villa Javier, Gesu, and others visiting from Haiti. Among them is our Director, Fr. Jorge Luis Rojas, S.J.; he is flanked to his left by Fr. Joseph Hill, S.J., and to his right by Fr. David Pantaleon, S.J., superior of the Miami section and pastor of Gesu Catholic Church in Miami. At the far left of the photo are prior ACU directors Fr. Willie Garcia-Tuñon, S.J., and behind him Fr. Willie Arias, S.J. Sitting in the front row from left is Congregant Fr. Marcelino Garcia, S.J., Fr. Pedro Cartaya, S.J., Congregante Fr. Eddie Alvarez, S.J., Fr. Alberto Garcia, S.J., and Congregant Fr. Pedro Gonzalez-Llorente, S.J. To the left of Fr. Prudencio is Fr. Alex Pizarro, S.J., from Chile who has assisted the ACU while visting Villa Javier.
The ACU remains grateful to the Province of the Caribbean for its support and the support of all these individual Jesuits who have collaborated over the past year with the ACU. We pray that these Jesuits have received renewed vigor and zeal for their particular mission.

Los jesuitas de la Provincia del Caribe completaron su ciclo anual de 8 días de Ejercicios Espirituales en Casa Manresa en Miami, que siempre se realiza la semana anterior a la Fiesta de San Ignacio de Loyola. Los Ejercicios fueron dirigidos por el P. Prudecio Miguel Piña, S.J., quien está de pie en el centro de la foto justo debajo de la cruz. Asistieron a los Ejercicios los jesuitas de Villa Javier, Gesú y otros visitantes de Haití. Entre ellos está nuestro Director, el P. Jorge Luis Rojas, S.J.; está flanqueado a su izquierda por el P. Joseph Hill, S.J., y a su derecha por el P. David Pantaleon, S.J., superior de la sección de Miami y párroco de la Iglesia Católica Gesú en Miami. En el extremo izquierdo de la foto están los anteriores directores de ACU, el P. Willie Garcia-Tuñon, S.J., y detrás de él el P. Willie Arias, S.J.
