Highlights from the Agrupacion Business Luncheon
We welcomed Deacon Ernie Sosa as our special guest speaker. Deacon Sosa shared insights from the book Return by Brandon Vogt, focusing on a challenge facing many Catholic families today.
The numbers are sobering: for every person who joins the Catholic Church, 6.5 leave. Half of all young people raised Catholic no longer identify with the faith. These statistics represent real families—parents deeply concerned for their children who have drifted away.
Deacon Sosa emphasized that waiting passively is not enough. He encouraged us to seek a deeper understanding of why young people leave and to actively engage with strategies to invite them back. His message was a call to action for all of us who care about the future of our faith community.
